Use pressed shamrocks to decorate your St Patricks Day kids crafts.
St Patricks Day is the 17th of March - the day on which St Patrick is believed to have died. It's a national holiday in Ireland.
What you'll need:
Clover leaves (Shamrocks are white clover)
Old telephone book
Time!
What to do:
Place freshly-picked clover leaves into the old phone book, towards the back. Arrange the leaves so that they're well spread out. Close the book and place more heavy books on top.
Wait about a month for the best results. Then carefully open the phone book and peel your pressed shamrocks off the pages.
Use them to decorate your Irish craft projects.
To make the card above, we cut the large dark green shape from a sheet of tissue paper and glued it onto a lighter green card, then arranged the pressed shamrocks over it and glued them on.
