Snowman Craft Patterns - Gift Boxes

Are you looking for snowman craft patterns? Use these to make cute little gift boxes which kids can fill with chocolates and hang on the Christmas tree. They make great gifts too.

To Make a Snowman Gift Box, You'll Need

Snowman Craft Patterns for Kids to Cut Out

1. Print the snowman pattern you want to use onto thin card.
2. Kids can cut the pattern out and punch holes where shown.
3. Show kids how to fold along the lines, folding towards the blank side of the card.
4. Now place one folded strip on top of the other and at right angles to it, to form a cross, with the printed sides facing down. Glue the centre segments of each piece together.
5. Take a piece of ribbon about 20cm (8 inches) long, fold it over, and tie the ends together in an overhand knot to make a loop.
6. The flaps at the ends of each pattern piece will form the top of the gift box. Bring two opposite ends together and thread the loop of ribbon up through both holes from below. Now fold in one more of the flaps and thread the ribbon up through it too.
7. Fill the gift box with chocolates, then thread the ribbon through the last hole and push the flap down to close the box. Thread the ribbon through the snowflake or snowman decoration so that the printed side is up, and slide the decoration down against the box.

Hang your snowman gift on the Christmas tree or give it away.
