Kids Craft Safety Information

Each parent or caregiver is responsible for deciding whether an activity or craft is suitable for a particular child, and how to carry it out.

Please modify the instructions to suit your child's age and ability.

In particular, always keep small objects and balloons out of the reach of children under 3 years.

When an oven or stove is used, adults should handle anything hot.

Only let children who are old enough (and capable enough) handle sharp tools such as scissors and knives, and supervise closely.

Lighted candles fascinate children, but they're dangerous. They should only be lit under direct adult supervision. The adult is reponsible for deciding whether this is safe, and for supervising carefully.
